A Single Life

Let’s be honest wahai kawan2 ku, dating doesn’t answer the question “what is the meaning of life?” Dating only leads to relationships, which are just as flawed as the process of date seeking. It’s great to have a relationship, but not having one doesn’t mean you’re useless OKEY!, your life is at and end and you should crawl into the fetal position and cry endlessly (unless you’re into that type of thing). 

It just means you don’t have one, and you shouldn’t be pressured, by friends, family, or society, to find a relationship. There are many times when dating, just isn’t that important. This dose of reality may be too much for serial daters, and those who feel their life isn’t properly completely without anyone, but it’s true. There are some moments where life is more important than finding a date.

I have to say, a single life is a single life full of freedom and happiness I have to elaborate, the day I got into a relationship, (just a imaginary state) it was all so good at first, wanted to do anything and everything with the imaginary-person i love ( who i call Boo) till one day my friends came over and asked me weather I wanted to go out with them for a movie, I said to them that 'Boo' s here and can Boo come too, they were so happy for me and said sure bring Boo along. 

So I went in and asked Boo, without even thinking about it said NO and went on saying that Boo wanted to go out alone without my friends, I had to turn down my friends and let them go without me, I regretted that day, this what happens when your partner decides to choose your faith. 

Right now I would like to live a single life no one to think about free from other peoples responsibility and doing my own thing, I would say proudly that in this present life I would love to have my freedom and live a single life…… I know all would agree..

Between Love and Friendship

May be some of us may encounter with such question specially dealing with these two different topic but yet the same... to choose between love and friend..yah, weighing pro and cons and to choose so that you wont hurt either both parties in some situations..

Both are so much related to each other. And both are so dissimilar! What are the differences between friendship and love? Is close friendship possible between persons of opposite sex?

What is friendship? Why do we call a person our friend? When do we call someone a very good friend? If we care for a person, if we are always ready to help that person and if we share most of our thoughts with a person, they are our good friends... kan? kan? We can always count upon our good friends in an emergency. We are always sure that our friend will understand why we acted in a certain way. We need not explain anything to our very good friends. The friendship is so deep and the relationship is so intimate, that most of the things are automatically understood by our friends.

What about love? In a relationship of deep love, all the sharing that we discussed above are taken for granted. But love transcends all this. During love, we are attached with a particular person, while in friendship, one may have many friends. A loving relationship makes one so much attached to the other, that one gets pained if his/her beloved is hurt! Love also involves a physical element. Friendship does not have that. This is a vital difference. Nature gives us love so that the specie can go forward. Nature does not give us friendship.

Your heart beats will never increase in anticipation of meeting your friend.. if that so, surely la you're in love with your friends kan..??? :D You will not lie awake at night thinking about your friend. You will not feel totally lost, if you don't meet your friend for a few days. You will not have dreams in your eyes thinking about your friend. But in love, you will do all this and much more. Indeed, there is no comparison between love and friendship..

For those who understands, there are no comparison to be specified on what is love and what is friendship...but as for me, we is currently do not attached to any person aka love one, decide that my friendships is a total love in so much ways..means in in love with my friendship till i was forgotten what it feel to have a separate meaning of love and friendships.

yah, say it! I'm pathetic living in this wonderful world with no one to call baby, babe or what-so-fucking-ever..! as  long as i have family, friends and people who care about me, I'm alive!


fyi, the closest love life i ever had is with my imaginary-person that i called boo...!

Well semua org tahu yg I am a faithful fan of the Emmy winning show “Glee”. I enjoy this show because it has everything- great themes, wide assortment of characters, music, drama, and comedy not to mention the guest stars. During the past few years, I’ve been watching a lot of reality singing talent shows including “American Idol”, “The Voice” and “The Glee Project”. I have favorite contestants on each show but none that really inspired me to write about them until now.During the past few days, I have been watching “The Glee Project” which airs on the Star World Astro Channel 711. I have a few favorite contestants on this show but one particular contestant stood out the most- Cameron Mitchell <3

In case you’ve haven’t watch the show, he’s the tall, lanky red-haired attractive singer with over-sized glasses. At twenty-one years old, this Texan is one of the oldest contestants on the show.Cameron Mitchell successfully auditioned for and won one of the coverted twelve spots on the “The Glee Project” by performing a song that he wrote and self-produced “Love can wait “. Often cited in many magazines as the male version of Taylor Swift, but in a more seductive version, he is quicky gaining popularity with fans on both You-tube and I-tunes due to his recent appearance on “The Glee Project”. He’s the one to watch over the next few months. I believe that he’s will be quickly signed up by a large label company.

Cameron Mitchell left the on week 6 (as i Google) because he felt felt his moral convictions were being compromised and that it was time to move on. In a previous episode of “The Glee Project”, he was given a surprise kiss by a fellow contestant. He was visibly upset, and afterward called his mother to explain what happended. To him, kissing was like cheating on his girlfriend, Macy. Most people could not understand why he got upset over a simple kiss. To him it wasn’t just a simple kiss. Cameron is a devout Christian and is truly faithful not only to his girlfriend, Macy but to himself – his faith, convictions and beliefs. He refused to give in or compromise or change what he is or believes in. Just like we all should.

A talented singer whose voice has a pure, soothing and rich timbre, Cameron’s ability to sing is best demonstrated when he is performing the acoustic versions of the Beatles “Blackbird” or Coldplay ‘s “Shiver” which in my opinion, is even better than the original by Chris Martin.  

His voice reminds me of several artists – John Mayer, Chris Martin, The Script and The Fray– all wonderfully blended and mixed into one red-haired package. A talented singer and writer- he is affably modest about his abilities or lack of. He has a great instrument that God blessed him with – his voice.

Christina Perri is now one the singer that i adore. he husky melancholics voice is just superb, her song and the way she present herself as a singer really inspired me in some ways or what not. her songs and voice somehow almost the same with Regina Spektor one of the strong voice and song writer that i also adore.

Things I Miss the Most During Fasting Month

there are a few things i miss the  most during the fasting month,

Chronology:  

when i was 12:

when i was 12, the things that i miss the most is to curi2 buka puase in the toilet,  i still remember when i get caught doing so when my mom rush into the toilet when she heard cracking thing in the toilet, mom its a plastic wrapper for the swiss roll i ate in the toilet. and for that 5 times of rotan singgah ti my butt.. miss that la..

when i was 17:

when i was 17, the things i miss the most is berbuke di hostel with my closed frens, ej sorry i have no frens during high school. but makan nasik and lauk kawah yg sometimes not so sedap and not so hygienic way of cooking is the things i miss during fasting month in high school. beside we have to rush and beratur panjang sampai kn sometimes berbuke sambil beratur. 

when i was 22:

when i was 22, i was in perantauan, abroad la kate kan...at that time i was in Sarawak taking my diploma. the things that i miss the most is when bile time burbuke me and my fren aidil, get ready to the market to buy ingredient untuk masak. see, we all mask di bilik hostel masing2..amazing kan... we only have a pair of knife and one periuk nasik. byng kan we all masak dalam satu peruk nasik aje..it a bit leceh because we have to basuh all over again sbb nk masak bende lain lg dalam periuk nasik yg same.. menu for buka puasa, laksa sarawak, nasik tomato, nasik goreng and so much more, tp just imagine that we cook it in only one periuk nasik.! amzing kan..

when i was 24:

when i was 24, the things that i miss the most is to berbuka puase with my bestie geng jimba..menu? venue? u name it! kami dah pergi dah..! lepas kelas kami rushing la nk ke bazaar ramadhan, bersempit dalam satu kereta, yg kartika malini panggil kerete flinstone..sampai hati kan... that car dah banyak berjase tuh..either to bazaar peringgit or bazaar taman cempaka..we would never miss it.. menu pelbagai la kan...menu that i miss the most karipap 3 singgit-singgah-ler..! other than that kuih, nasi kerabu and air pelbagai rase..miss juge nak ke bazaar masjid tanah bersama kakak erin..we all keep on pusing2 around bazaar tp x beli pape pon.. owh miis that moment la..!

when i was, i mean now! :

when i was 'i mean now', the things that i miss the most is to berbuka puase dengan mak and abah..bebuke di KL sgt la menyedih kan...sbb i always berbuke seorg diri di umah or with my achik..tp in the present of mak and abah, berbuka would means so much more....nak buat macam mane kan...dah bekerje, tp yg seronok nye sejak bekerje di KL ni ade lah jugak im involved in things or two even berbuke bersame geng2 kerje yg baru, for instant Cats Lover Club and budak2 department.. pape pon everything will be so much more if people yg we care and love ade disisi kan...

Happy Fasting, Raya is Coming...!

its been a while since the last time i update this blog..work, work and no internet access at home is the reason why the blog being left abandon.. even though i have the ipad to do so, unfortunately the function to edit and beautify my post is damn limited. fyi im at my home town Melaka and this give me the opportunity to update as i have all the time and internet to do so.

for those who doesnt know, this is a fasting month and its only about less than 10 days to hari raya..just now i came back from my sis house, we are all doing a preparation for hari raya, ape lagi kn, buat kuih raya la..

this year im a bit sad because my mom has no time to do all the preparation (kuih raya) as the only reliable and person who she seek for help is not around. IT'S ME..im working..and this is the only time i balik kampung to help her as i am working my butt off till 2 days before hari raya.. sob..sob..my mom already said, 'xde lah kuh raye tahun ni, kek lagi sape lah nak buat, dak ateh xde..' mak..u make me sad la...by hook or by crook mak, ill sure will come back as early as i can to buat kek and kuih raya..i promise..

tp yg seronok td kami nuat kuih biskut cake, its a tart with topping in top..sure guys has never tried this kuih raya, kan? biskut cake is the 'IT" kuih that we all MUST have during hari raya..mmg sedap..!

esok dah nk balik New York (as for kartika) start kerje..so sape lah yg nk buat kuh ni...sian my mom..its okey its only a week je lgi before i have my cuti raye for almost 3 weeks...lame kan...wajib amik tu.. 

so till then, selamat berbuka..
